Age Discrimination in ITCs?

A recent report notes that only 11 per cent of its information and communication technology workforce in Australia is over 55. Australian Federal Age Discrimination Commissioner Susan Ryan is concerned that this is a result of age discrimination, and noted the low number of women in related jobs as well. Further study, which will also review discrimination against persons with disabilities, has been commissioned, and its results are expected in May.
