Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel considered the US president Donald Trump's ban from Twitter problematic, according to her spokesman Steffen Seibert. Seibert mentioned that online platforms shall not stand back when hatred content is posted, however freedom of opinion is a fundamental right that shall be restricted with great responsibility by social media platforms.
