European Parliament calls for joint strategy to fight radicalisation

The European Parliament has adopted a resolution on 'preventing radicalisation and recruitment of European citizens by terrorist organisations'. Radicalisation on the Internet is one of the key elements of the report. The resolution calls on 'digital giants' to take greater responsibility for 'illegal content' and on the European Cybercrime Centre to play a role in detecting illicit content through its weapons against cybercrime.
