Internet Watch Foundation: child abuse imagery increasingly discovered and removed

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has found that the number of reports on videos and images containing child abuse has increased by 417 percent over the last two years. The increase is most likely due to UK Prime Minister David Cameron's approval for the IWF to proactively search for such imagery in 2014. With Cameron's approval, the IWF has also been able to remove a growing number of illegal images and content.
