A superior court in California decided that Uber can keep sending messages in its app to drivers about Proposition 22. The act will be voted in November and aim at exempting ride-hailing companies from having to reclassify their workers as employees. The court dismissed the driver's claims of political coercion by affirming that there was no evidence of any Uber worker being punished for not supporting Proposition 22. The court found that the messages are part of Uber's free speech rights.
