According to a Reuters report, Amazon has launched an online pharmacy in the southern city of Bengaluru, India. The newly launched service, Amazon Pharmacy, offers deliveries of both over the counter and prescription drugs across the city. It will also deliver basic health devices and traditional Indian herbal medicines. India has not finalised regulations for online drug sales or e-pharmacies, and many trade groups protest against e-pharmacies as online sellers continue to threaten traditional drug stores.
