The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC)was sued by non-profit organisation American Oversight, which argues that the Commission has failed to comply with a request for records related to communications on net neutrality. In April this year, the organisation filed a Freedom of Information Act request asking the FCC for 'correspondence, e-mails, telephone call logs, calendar entries, meeting agendas' and other records of communications on net neutrality between the Commission and Internet service providers, as well as members of the Congress, congressional staff, and members of the media. American Oversight says that the FCC has repeatedly requested for extensions to comply with the request. It is therefore seeking for a court order requiring the Commission to make the requested records available.
