Lithuania's National Agency for Education (NSA) plans to distribute 35 000 tablets and laptops to schoolchildren from socially disadvantaged families. After the suspension of classes due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of Education decided to purchase computers for children lacking e-learning means, thus enabling everyone an undisrupted continuation of schooling during the pandemic. The distribution of devices with Internet access will be implemented in several phases due to procurement procedures.
