TheNigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has given timelines for public input on draft guidelines on SIM registration and replacement. The guidelines make it mandatory to use the national ID when registering or replacing a SIM card. The public can submit comments till September 24, 2021 and NCC will hold a public inquiry session on October 5, 2021.
