Google's Pixel Watch 3 launched on Sept. 10, 2024, and introduced several improvements over the Pixel Watch 2. The newer device offers a 45mm option for people who want a bigger display, whereas the older model only came in 41mm. Additionally, the bezels around the glass were shrunk to 4.5mm, "giving [users] a bit more screen real estate."

's Jack Wallen, who's been using the Pixel Watch since its first iteration, noted that the Pixel Watch 3 addresses many shortcomings that plagued the older models. The larger 45mm screen significantly improves readability. Battery life is much better, too, as it can last until the following morning after a long run. Other notable improvements include a dynamic refresh rate that makes animation feel smoother, a snappier user interface, and the return of running split notifications.
