EU launches public-private partnership on cybersecurity

The European Commission has signed agreement with European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) that should boost cybersecurity industry. According to the plan, EU will invest 450 million Euro through its research and innovation programme Horizon 2020, while ECSO should invest three times more. The public-private partnership should also involve public administration and academic and research institutions in order to develop cybersecurity solutions for various sectors including the critical infrastructure, health and transport.
