European and US content moderators urge Facebook to let them work from home during the pandemic

A group of 200 content moderators sent an open letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to express their disappointment in the platform's requirements for working through extremely tough deadlines, low pay, and being required to return to the office despite the ongoing pandemic. Facebook alleged that the nature of content moderators' job requires them to work from the office.
