To celebrate its 10th birthday as a wireless provider, Google Fi Wireless has unveiled a string of promotions and perks, including one plan that aims to outshine the competition.
Available now, the new Unlimited Essentials plan grants US subscribers unlimited calls and data, along with 30GB of high-speed data, for just$35 a month for one line. Need to add more lines? Google will reduce the total price as you add more lines. For example, you'll pay$60 for two lines,$80 for three lines,$90 for four lines,$113 for five lines, and$135 for six lines.
The plan includes 5G service where available, spam call blocking, a VPN, and connectivity for certain smartwatches. If you deplete the 30GB of data before the month ends, Google will simply reduce your speed to 256 Kbps until the next month.
As an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator), Google Fi Wireless primarily runs on T-Mobile's network. You can check availability in your area through the Google Fi coverage page. Keep in mind that the calls, texts, and data included in this plan are available only in the US.
In addition to introducing the new plan, Google has increased the data allotment on its pricier plans.
At$50 per month per line, Unlimited Standard, previously known as Simply Unlimited, now offers 50GB of high-speed data, up from 35GB. The monthly data allowance for high-speed hotspot usage is now 25GB, up from the prior 5GB. Calls, texts, and data are also covered in Canada and Mexico.

At$65 per month per line, Unlimited Premium, previously called Unlimited Plus, now provides 100GB of high-speed data, up from 50GB. This plan includes 50GB of hotspot data, coverage in more than 200 different countries, six months of YouTube Premium for free, 100GB of Google One cloud storage, and wireless access for tablets and laptops.
Google Fi also offers a Flexible plan that lets you pay per gigabyte for the data you use. You'll pay$20 per month per line and$10 for each gigabyte of data.
As another perk, Google is enhancing its international 5G coverage for Unlimited Premium and Flexible plans. By adding 54 more countries, the plans will now be available in more than 92 international locations.

But wait, there's more. New customers can essentially score a free Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel Watch 3. You'll get$300 off the Pixel 9 Pro right away, and the remaining$699 will be credited to your bill over 24 months. After Google ships your phone, you'll receive a code for a Pixel Watch 3, which provides$100 off the initial purchase and$349 back over 24 months of bill credits.

You'll need to act quickly, as this promotion expires on April 29.
Since the service runs primarily on T-Mobile's network, expect good performance if you're in an area with strong T-Mobile coverage. However, the best way to find out is to try it for yourself.
Google Fi offers a free seven-day trial with high-speed data in the US, unlimited calls and texts, hotspot tethering, VPN, and spam call blocking. You can use this alongside your existing wireless plan and choose which service to use and when. Just remember to cancel before the seven days are up, or Google will begin billing you$50 a month.
