UK regulators are relaxing policies on cloud computing with the aim of fostering a environment of innovation amongst businesses using cloud computing technologies. The Financial Conduct Authority passed a new set of guidlines giving more control to corporations and allowing them to use public cloud services and relaxing the rules for companies seeking to outsource cloud services through third parties. This is part of the UK government's overall strategy to boost growth in its fintech sector.
