The Zambian government has expressed concern over the inappropriate disposal of e-waste in the country, pointing to environmental and human health implications of inadequate e-waste management. To that end, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Amos Malupenga urged the private sector to set up plants that will take care of electronic gadgets that have reached the end of their life.
