A joint investigation by the Digital Forensics Services of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Grand Falls Police Force on Child Sexual Material Online (CSAM) has led to the arrest of a man for the possession of child sexual abuse images. The person has been sentenced to 14 months in prison.
The offender's name will be added to the National Sex Offender Registry for 20 years and he will be required to submit his DNA sample. Further after his release, he will have to stay away from children.
