Hundreds of taxi cabs protested the return of Uber to Barcelona after a two-year hiatus. Uber was banned from Barcelona in February 2019 for not complying with the rule that required Uber's rides to be hired at least 15 minutes in advance. At the time of the request, Uber considered it completely incompatible with its services.
