Spring is in the air, and not only are the flowers blooming, but so are great deals on some of the best phones out there. OnePlus is joining in on the fun by offering a new deal on its latest flagship smartphone, theOnePlus 13 .

Over at the company's official website, the base OnePlus 13  with 12GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, has dropped to$850. Keep in mind that this deal only applies to the Black Eclipse model. The other two are unavailable.

The upgrade configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage received its own$50 discount, going down to$950. This particular deal is more widely available as it applies to all three color options: Black Eclipse, Midnight Ocean (blue), and Arctic Dawn (white).

OnePlus' trade-in program allows you to save more money. Depending on what you trade in and its build quality, you can shave off an additional$100. I should mention that the company is also offering 20% off its Insulated Coffee Travel Tumbler as part of a OnePlus 13 bundle. You can add other accessories too, like a power bank, but nothing else is discounted.

If you don't want to purchase from the official storefront, Best Buy has the exact same deal for the  512GB OnePlus 13 , costing$950. However, you only have two color options: Black Eclipse and Midnight Ocean.

The OnePlus 13 is a great flagship smartphone for the brand. 's Senior Reviews Editor Kerry Wan said in his review that he is "confident in calling it a 'Phone of the Year' contender." In several ways, the model is even better than the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Wan praises the OnePlus 13 for its comfortable and surprisingly hardy design, its performance, as well as its long-lasting battery. According to his findings, the device can run for 36 hours straight on a single charge, a duration not often seen among mainstream phones in the US market.

What's more, the triple-camera system "does an excellent job of capturing details and finishing the output vividly." It does, however, oversaturate the color in photographs, which is a style that not everybody enjoys. That said, the OnePlus 13 is highly recommended and offers a lot for its$850 price tag.

How I rated this deal

Because the deal is small, I'm going to give this promotion a 1/5, as per 's rating system. It's always great to find discounts, but I've seen better. OnePlus once had a deal for the OnePlus 13 where it gave away free gifts with a purchase, such as a wireless charger. Hopefully, deeper price cuts or free gifts will return in the near future.

I should mention that other OnePlus products have received discounts. Both the OnePlus Nord N30 and the OnePlus Open are on sale for$200 and$1,300, respectively.

When will this deal expire?

Per OnePlus, this offer will end on April 27, 2025.

What are the tariffs in the US?

The recent US tariffs on imports from countries like China, Vietnam, and India aim to boost domestic manufacturing but are likely to drive up prices on consumer electronics. Products like smartphones, laptops, and TVs may become more expensive as companies rethink global supply chains and weigh the cost of shifting production.

Also: Tariff war has tech buyers wondering what's next. Here's what we know

Smartphones are among the most affected by the new US tariffs, with devices imported from China and Vietnam facing steep duties that could raise retail prices by 20% or more. Brands like Apple and Google, which rely heavily on Asian manufacturing, may either pass these costs on to consumers or absorb them at the expense of profit margins.

The tariffs could also lead to delays in product launches or shifts in where and how phones are made, forcing companies to diversify production to countries with more favorable trade conditions.
