The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has published First Overview of Key Initiatives in Response to COVID-19 as a basis for further analysis and discussion papers to help countries in their response to the COVID-19 crisis. In it, ITU outlines short term and long term regulatory initiatives in response to COVID-19 related to network management, customer services and governmental subsidies, easing regulatory requirements for licensing, etc. It also outlines initiatives in individual countries to maintain internet connectivity.
