Microsoft to update Office Pro Plus following privacy concerns

A recent audit commissioned by the Ministry of Justice of the Netherlands has suggested high privacy risks for users of Microsoft Office Pro Plus. In response, Microsoft has announced new updates in order to address a series of privacy concerns. As reported by Politico, the audit indicates that 'Microsoft systematically collects data on a large scale about the individual use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook'. Microsoft denied this assertion, but announced new updates by the end of April.
