Russian telecoms watchdog Roskomnadzor has announced its ban on the Zello walkie-talkie app. Roskomnadzor first urged Zello 'to stop sending messages to Russian users that contained false information concerning the Ukrainian crisis'. After Zello did not comply with Roskomnadzor's requirement within the period stipulated by law, the Russian regulator banned it in the country.
