The Turkish Data Protection Board announced the extension of VERB?S registration deadline until June 30, 2020. The VERBIS refers to the registry of data controllers, introduced by the new Turkish data protection act. The Board observed that the process was not truly understood yet by all data controllers. This extension applies to Turkish data controllers with more than 50 employees annually, and data controllers located abroad.
