Twitch faced data breach and blamed an error in the server configurations that might have allowed a hacker to leak sensitive information. Twitch is a popular platform among video gamers and owned by Amazon. About 125GB of personal and non-personal data was leaked. The hacker's motive was allegedly to 'foster more disruption and competition in the online video streaming space'. The company has a strong suspicion that the platform code was leaked.
