A bipartisan coalition of state attorneys led by Attorney General Maura Healey has launched a nationwide investigation, whether TikTok has any adverse effects on the physical and mental health of children and young adults. The investigation will look at whether usage may cause harm to young adults, the methods and techniques utilised by TikTok to boost engagement of minors, their usage, duration and frequency of engagement with the platform, etc.
