Sep, 11, 2013 Hi-network.com

As you may have heard, Cisco is hosting the inaugural Internet of Things World Forum, October 29-31 in Barcelona.  The goal of the IoT World Forum is to gather the bestandbrightest thinkers, doers, and innovators from business, government, and academia together toaccelerate the Internet of Things.  At the end of the conference, participants will walk away with an enhanced understanding of what they can do to advance the Internet of Things, as well as strategies for maximizing its benefits-both for their organizations and the industry as a whole.

If you're one of those thinkers, innovators, or doers and would like to attend, please check out the handy list of steps below to register. Registering for the IoT World Forum is actually a two-step process.  Nominations and Registration.  I detail both, below.

Step 1:  Nominations

To nominate someone or yourself, fill out the "contact us" form to let the nominating committee know about them:

Once you've filled this out, you'll see the following on the screen:

If you are accepted you will then receive the following email....

Step 2: Registration

You should receive an email from "IoT World Forum [mailto:[email protected]]"  that looks like this (Hint: You'll need thatusername and passwordto fully register)

Use the username and password from the email you receive and go to https://www.iotwfbarcelona.com/portal/login.ww.

Add in your username and password, hit "Login" and you'll be registered!

That's it!

Once you've registered, you'll have the opportunity to begin planning your calendar.  This is where the real challenge begins as there are many fascinating, exciting, amazing talks being given, along multiple tracts.  How you'll choose between all of them is anyone's guess.  However, that's a topic for another blog.
