Xiaomi has introduced the 15 Ultra, a new flagship designed for photography enthusiasts. Showcased at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the device features a quad-camera system, including a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom.
Additional cameras include three 50-megapixel sensors covering wide, telephoto, and ultrawide shots, while a 32-megapixel front camera enhances selfies.
Beyond photography, the 15 Ultra packs a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
A 5,410mAh battery supports 90W wired and 80W wireless charging, while features like satellite communication, Hi-Res audio, and an IP68 rating enhance durability.
Xiaomi's latest flagship comes in white, black, and a striking silver-chrome variant. Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS powers the phone, promising up to four major software updates.
AI integration through Google's Gemini enhances usability. Despite its premium features, the 15 Ultra is a heavy device, weighing 229 grams in the silver finish.
The standard Xiaomi 15 has also arrived in Europe, following its earlier launch in China. It features a 6.36-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a triple 50-megapixel camera system. Colour options include black, white, green, and an eye-catching Liquid Silver.
